EngageNY Adds Phone Sex To Liven Up The Lesson Planning

Can't be any more obscene than the classroom lessons they offer at EngageNY:

The state Education Department’s EngageNY website was directing people with tech support problems to a telephone number for an engagement of a different kind Thursday.

Instead of getting help to log on, people who call the number are greeted with a perky female voice announcing, “Welcome to America’s hottest talk line! Ladies, press 1 to talk to interesting and exciting guys. Guys, press 2 to talk to hot ladies!”

EngageNY is the state’s go-to site for all things Common Core. Teachers, administrators and parents are directed there to get specifics about which subjects are taught at which grade level and to see examples of lesson plans. It gets high ratings from those who use it.

However, when an administrator accessed it Thursday morning to sign up for the mandated parent portal site and had to get a tech support number, the one he was directed to wasn’t what he had expected.

Tom Dunn, a spokesmen for the state Education Department, said they took site down as soon as they were alerted to the issue and were investigating how it happened.

Support at EngageNY will cost $5.99 for the first minute, $2.99 a minute after that.

Please have your credit card number handy when you call.

On the first Monday of the month, "Merry" Merryl Tisch will be on the line to give you some "support."

On BDSM Thursdays, NYSED Commissioner John King will be live on the phone.

Don't forget, the safe word when you're talking to the King is "Danielson!"

Listen, they have to liven up the 22 page lesson plans they're giving to people to use per day someway.
