A new Allstate/National Journal Heartland Monitor poll finds 39% of Americans would cast a ballot for President Obama in 2012, while 50% say they would probably or definitely vote for someone other else. That didn't take long.
The amount of good will and political capital squandered by this president is unbelievable.
The right thinks he's an illegal immigrant, the middle thinks he's a tax and spend liberal and the left thinks he's a corproate whore.
Heckuva job, Barack!!!
Yes, 2012 could be a time for Change.
ReplyDeleteTuesday's Mass Senate election could be time for a change. 69 Dems in the Senate instead of 60 is all you need to change everything. Then it's bye-bye Barack's agenda, certainly until November, most likely for good.
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion, that would be a good thing.
My only fear is he'll try and hange his hat on education reform if health care doesn't work out.
That might be easier for him to get passed, since his pro-market, pro-privatization policies are Repub-friendly already.
And we know how much the editorial writers like 'em.
But we'll see. Maybe Repubs won't want to give him any victories and enough progressives will pull support from him on education deform too that he can be stopped.
Of course that's assuming the unions would fight him. Randi seems to just want to fellate him and Duncan and give away the store on merit pay, test scores and charter schools.
