She was past the expiration date years ago when I asked her about changing tiers. She screamed at me then. It appears that she spends a lot of time yelling at members.
Here is a solution: get rid of Mulgrew, get rid of Sandra March.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1628172601886929098.post-22347308130583598292015-04-25T09:28:33.866-04:002015-04-25T09:28:33.866-04:00Sandra March was despicable at the RTC meeting. Her microphone protested with feedback as she screamed and yelled. It was appalling, she acted like she had a Las Vegas act, forgetting she was before the people who worked their whole lives to keep her in her position, she should be removed immediately if even for this one outrageous occurrence, Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1628172601886929098.post-46663354490313699152015-04-25T08:25:12.921-04:002015-04-25T08:25:12.921-04:00http://www.truthdig.com/report/print/cities_states...http://www.truthdig.com/report/print/cities_states_pay_massive_secret_fees_to_wall_street_20150424

Further information on Harris' reporting.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1628172601886929098.post-65971196279467632882015-04-20T12:49:39.074-04:002015-04-20T12:49:39.074-04:00This is what it's always been about...lower th...This is what it's always been about...lower the state's pension liabilities under the guise of "reform".Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1628172601886929098.post-83971917528492767392015-04-20T07:40:03.949-04:002015-04-20T07:40:03.949-04:00Unfunded pension gapUnfunded pension gapAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1628172601886929098.post-36722208056369685772015-04-20T07:38:53.749-04:002015-04-20T07:38:53.749-04:00The mass firing of teachers will go a long way tow...The mass firing of teachers will go a long way toward closing the unfounded pension gap.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1628172601886929098.post-68795100484346506662015-04-20T07:26:34.064-04:002015-04-20T07:26:34.064-04:00The war on teacher pensions will be fought on many...The war on teacher pensions will be fought on many fronts. One strategy that will be employed is to simply plunder funds (through payment of exhorbitant fees to friends--ususally linked tokickbacks). A second strategy will be to underfund and claim that the city/state are broke. That is not the case--they just of different funding priorities. Finally, on the political front the very wealthy will use corporate media to pit NY citizens against public employees--that has been going on for quite some time. Unions need to be vocal asking privte sector emplyees (1) why their standard of living is going down, and (2) why they are not organizing to give themselves an advantage in increasing their incomes. We need to point to the public sector as the only place incomes (and standards of living) have come close to holding up!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1628172601886929098.post-51190660650124667882015-04-20T05:11:09.904-04:002015-04-20T05:11:09.904-04:00Who else noticed that Chris Christie said he wants...Who else noticed that Chris Christie said he wants to eliminate Social Security for those earning $80,000 in retirement? He said it again last week in New Hampshire.

Most teachers who work 25-30 years will get a pension approaching that and will be over it with their 403b earnings.

I have already paid hundreds of thousands into Social Security along with my employer contributions. Now Christie wants to effectively confiscate these monies, while still taxing me at a 6.2% rate. The guy is sickening. Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
