Sen. Michael Bennet (D-CO) did a series of radio interviews today urging people to vote but his list inadvertently included a call to conservative radio host Peter Boyles, Michelle Malkin notes. As the audio shows, the call didn't go too well.
Said Boyles after the interview: "I wonder who lost their gig over that one?"
Listen to the clip. It's pretty pathetic.
Couldn't Bennet have gotten off that call in a more graceful manner without hanging up once he realized he was talking to the wrong host?
Apparently not. He managed to get off as gracelessly as possible.
Bennet also sounded either drunk or drugged.
Seriously, it sounds like he's slurring his words.
Where is Hunter Thompson when you need him?
I bet Thompson could analyze that call and tell EXACTLY what ups and downs Bennet's staff are loading him up on to get through his 20 hour campaign days, grab a little sleep, than do it all over again.
I hope Tuesday night goes as well for Bennet was this radio call did.
