The Morning After

Colorado Senate race still uncalled.

Michael Bennet has less than a 5,000 vote lead. 87% of the vote counted.

Nate Silver says Bennet will probably win this, but with 13% of the vote still to be counted, it's up in the air.

Also, a 1% margin of victory will trigger a recount, so Obama's favorite education whore shouldn't count on this Senate seat just yet.

But looks good for Bennet.

(Indeed, I see more votes have just been counted and his lead has expanded to 9,000 votes.)

Harry Reid held on in Nevada.

Obama's seat in Illinois is now held by a Republican.

Patty Murray is barely holding on in Washington - she has less than a 1% lead.

Murkowski has a 5 point lead in Alaska as a write-in. She will caucus with Republicans if she wins, obviously, so no change there.

Dems lost a total of 5 Senate seats - Indiana, Wisconsin, Illinois, Arkansas, Pennsylvania.

Republicans retook the House.

Say hello to Speaker Boehner.

Free tanning for everybody!!!

That's it from the national scene for now.

More later.
