The tide is turning in Europe. Hopefully, that wave can make its way over here, although I am not holding my breath.
News here is so censored that a major education event has apparently not been mentioned at all in mainstream media: the fact that all Philadelphia public schools are slated to close and be replaced by charters.
Ms. Tsouris, the story out of Philadelphia is so upsetting. I have family in the area, and the story isn't even getting out to them. Assailed Teacher, I so would love to see that tide break on these shores. But I'm not holding my breath either.
