Sea Gate got hit hard by Sandy too.
The Guardian reports that so far, the city has done nothing other than send a couple of sanitation workers in to help with the clean up.
Most of the recovery has been done by the Orthodox Jewish community who live in the neighborhood.
Sea Gate, once a gated community near Coney Island, is now Sea Gateless from Sandy and has been the target of looters.
Just another neighborhood forgotten by Bloomberg, Cuomo, et al.
It's hard to believe that just one day ago, Bloomberg was talking about having the marathon tomorrow so he could publicly proclaim that NYC has magically risen from the ashes.
What risen?
Seems like every hour another story about another forgotten neighborhood devastated by the storm goes up in the newspapers.
