Jeb Bush made the "Full Ginsburg" on the Sunday Political b.s. shows this morning, looking to clean up the mess he
made over immigration last week and claiming he is ready and able to run for president:
Jeb Bush says his last name isn't a drag on his ability to win a presidential race.
Bush, the younger brother of George W. Bush who is considering a 2016
White House bid of his own, on Sunday rejected the idea that his
connection to the former president amounts to political "baggage."
Bush, the former Florida governor, is on a publicity tour to promote
his new book on immigration. He said it's too early to talk seriously
about 2016.
"If I run for president, it's not because of something in my DNA that
compels me to do it," Bush said. "It would be that it's the right thing
to do for my family, that the conditions are right, and that I have
something to offer. If I don't run, I have a blessed life.
Oh, please, please, please, please, please run Jeb.
I am dying to see your education record and business dealings get the Full Monty during a presidential campaign by the national press.
As I noted here, I do not think either is going to stand up to much scrutiny.
I still think this publicity tour really is about selling books and his for profit education ventures and not really about his running for president.
But as always, hope to be wrong about that.
It would be great to see Jeb Bush, his record and his businesses get some scrutiny
