Tish James: I'll Make Sure De Blasio Governs As A Progressive

Tish James, responding to questions of what happens if de Blasio governs as a corporatist like Andrew Cuomo:
“I don't think he's going to have much wiggle room,” says New York City councilwoman Letitia James, who will replace de Blasio as public advocate come January. “I'm going to make sure that he stays focused on a progressive agenda.”

The public advocate office doesn't have much power, but it can be effective as a bully pulpit.

  1. My name is James Lane and I am the Green Party Public Advocate Candidate that the major media does not want you to know about. I still pledge to be New York City's Principled Independent Watchdog over our city government!

    1. Thanks for stopping by, James. I would agree that the major media, along with the two major political parties, does not want candidates like yourself, or third parties like the Green Party, to garner any attention or votes.
