Quinnipiac Poll Finds Most New Jersey Voters Believe Christie Is Not A Bully

A new Quinnipiac poll finds New Jersey voters believe Gov. Chris Christie (R) is more of a leader than a bully by a 54% to 40% margin -- one of his lowest "bully" scores since the question was first asked in 2010.

In addition, voters who have heard about the George Washington Bridge controversy say by 66% to 22% that the governor did not personally order the traffic jam. Even Democrats say 53% to 32% that Christie was not involved.

I dunno what these people are watching or reading, but the back story to BridgeGate sure sounds like a governor who set up an office culture of "Get them if they don't do what we want them to do!" and Bridget Ann Kelly and his PA allies did just that to Fort Lee.

How Christie can get his lowest "bully" marks in a poll after this news is beyond me.

Still, it's early in the scandal and Dems and Republicans who are Christie opponents smell blood.

They'll go after him and if there's anything at all there, they'll destroy him with it.

Also, the more the late night comedians and the press take aim, the more those Christie numbers will come down.

Sometimes it takes a few weeks for a scandal like this to impact the poll numbers.
