De Blasio Finally Gets Some Professional Public Relations Help

From State of Politics:

After a rocky start with the press and a prolonged personnel search, de Blasio plans to announce a new communications director today: P.R. professional Andrea Hagelgans, who once worked for the city CFB and advised Planned Parenthood on its media strategy.

Now if only the UFT would get some decent PR help.

These days, more than half a battle is won through PR.

  2. PR for the public, or for the face the UFT shows to the rank and file?
For the UFT to have improved PR, while continuing to treat the rank and file like their serfs would be a further insult to the members.
