“We are keenly aware that New York State remains a top target for terrorists,” Cuomo said. “In response to the warning by the federal government, New York State is taking steps to increase monitoring and communication with our local, state, and federal emergency management and law enforcement partners through the holiday weekend. As we celebrate with family and friends this Independence Day, I urge all New Yorkers to not only remember the freedoms that we hold dear, but also remain cautious of their surroundings and learn to recognize and report suspicious activity.”
While preparing for an attack, Cuomo noted, terrorists may “conduct themselves in ways that do not match the usual pattern of activity found within our daily lives, which makes them stand out from others.”
Gee, thanks for the advice, governor.
How lucky we are to have you.
You track escaped prisoners, you're the "great compromiser," and you help us spot terrorists.
Thank God you're our governor.
It sounds like Homeland Security 101.

I guess he figures he's gotta say something, try and stay relevant.
Deletehe forgot to tell us to go out and buy some duck tape
ReplyDeleteLuckily when Michael Chertoff told me to go out and buy some, I bought a whole bunch.
DeleteChertoff, btw, is now a lawyer for one of the Bridgegate crooks.
Funny, that.
Cuomo has actually become an 'educational terrorist'--based on his own definition of terrorist activities. So maybe he should be on the alert for himself.
