Ralph Nader and Ron Paul

Interesting conversation - Nader says the U.S. spends $30 million an hour on the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.

And public employee pensions are the problem?

Uh, uh - overseas empire is the problem.

  1. Let's not forget that Nader is responsible for the war. By running as a 3rd party candidate in an election he could never win, he allowed George W. Bush to win the presidency. What difference did his running make? Are we any closer to having a 3rd party which is supposedly why he ran? No. But we do have a war, started by W. Nader will say Gore didn't run a good campaign, but his bull-headed candidacy gave the election to W. Let's not let him forget that.
