NYSED On Lockdown

Interesting story from WNYT:

Things are back to normal at the state Education Department building in Albany after a brief lockdown Thursday morning.

The Education Department tells us that the lockdown happened after a fight between two employees.

The building was searched and cleared by both the police and security staff.

There is no word yet on what the two were fighting about.

Kinda emblematic of the contributions NYSED brings to education as a whole.

Also, shame they took the building off lockdown.

Less harm done when it's that way.

  1. I hope Mrs. Elia was not hurt as a part of this incident...along with losing the confidence of parents from across the entire state it looks like she has lost the confidence and respect of her minions.

  2. Why should NYSED be any different than the multitude of schools trying "alternatives to discipline" and "restorative justice". Kids are running wild, knowing they can do whatever the hell they want. Schools are becoming zoos, looks like it's trickling up!

  3. It would of course be more easy for the respective authorities to act in accordance with such probabilities so this would indeed be easy move along with.
