The "new and improved" NY State English Regents exam is being given today.
As such, no blogging today.
NOTHING is more important than test scores these days.
Not ridding the schools of PCBs or bedbugs.
Not spending less money on test prep and more money on lower class sizes.
Not moving away from a high stakes testing atmosphere so rife with fear and anger that the tension in the room today will mimic the kind you usually see at a serious surgical procedure.
Nope - the only thing that matters is the "All Powerful" scores.

I've seen these grading situations get ugly.
