Here's Some Data Bloomberg Doesn't Have

From today's hearing on the city's response during the Bloomberg Blizzard Disaster of 2010:

Councilwoman Elizabeth Crowley asked how many people had died during the storm, but city officials did not have a tally.


They don't have the data for how many people died during the storm because a) that's not something they want to publicize any more than it already has been publicized and b) they don't give a shit how many people died during the storm.

  2. I'm sure the media could, if they so desired. But it's a lot easier FOILing erroneous value-added data from the DOE than counting up how many people Bloomberg killed on December 26-28.
