NEW YORK — The head of the teachers' union repeatedly sidestepped reporters' questions about his opinions on Cathie Black's departure.
United Federation of Teachers President Michael Mulgrew said Thursday he wishes the former schools chancellor well.
Asked what grade he'd give Black, Mulgrew smiled and replied: "She wasn't in the class for a semester so it wouldn't be correct for me to give her a grade."
Adept sidestep per Mulgrew.
Nonetheless, I can give her a grade.
F for fucking stupid appointment.
Bloomberg apparently agreed.
That's why today Cathie is F for fired.
