In many districts, part of a teacher's evaluation will be based on schoolwide averages. For example, in Scarsdale, kindergarten teachers will be judged in part by how students in third grade do on state tests.
Does anybody think this kind of thing will stand up in court?
Hey, you taught this student four years ago - now we're evaluating you on their third grade Common Core assessments!
I'm no lawyer, but I have a difficult time seeing that passing the laugh test in court.
