There’s no deal so far on modifications to the state-mandated teacher evaluation system. A sticking point is how many years and for which school years the state would remove Common Core-aligned test scores from consideration in the teacher evaluations.
Is anybody surprised that the UFT- and NYSUT-backed Cuomo is holding out for minimal and ineffectual changes to his APPR teacher evaluation system?
Aren't you glad the UFT was part of a contingent of unions that threatened the Working Families Party with dissolution if they didn't back Cuomo and put his name of their ballot line?
