New York State United Teachers' Board of Directors is backing the statewide re-election bids of state Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli and Attorney General Eric Schneiderman.
The NYSUT board also issued early endorsements for state Sens. Tim Kennedy, D-Buffalo, and Toby Stavisky, D-Queens, along with Assemblyman Kevin Cahill, D-Kingston, and Jason Zove, a 26-year-old Commack resident who is challenging six-term incumbent Assemblyman Michael Fitzpatrick.

NYSUT will consider endorsements in other races at its regular endorsement conference beginning August 11.
No Cuomo endorsement, but they don't really have to issue one of those to be helping Sheriff Andy out.
When the unions made sure that Working Families Party did not nominate Zephyr Teachout to run on Governor Cuomo's left, something that would have forced him to fight a two front war on both the during his re-election campaign, they provided all the help Cuomo needed this election cycle to get re-elected.
