Today he was still downplaying things, but that confidence he seemed to have in Kaloyeros on Friday was replaced by finger pointing at SUNY:
Cuomo on federal investigation into Buffalo Billion: "Literally all I know is what I read in the newspaper."
— Thomas Kaplan (@thomaskaplan) September 20, 2015
Cuomo: "I was attorney general. I sent out a lot of subpoenas. It's your way of gathering information. So, you know, it is what it is."

Cuomo points finger at SUNY when asked about Buffalo Billion investigation: "SUNY has administered the grant process."

Cuomo on LPCiminelli's role in Buffalo Billion: "I had nothing to do with the selection whatsoever. That was handled by SUNY."

Gee, that didn't take long, did it?
In 48 hours, we go from Cuomo's total confidence in SUNY and Alain Kaloyeros to Cuomo pointing the finger at SUNY and saying "Hey, this has got nothing to do with me!"
Not much honor among thieves, is there?
