Cuomo Associate Is Quite The Grifter

The NY Times did a piece on Todd Howe, the former Cuomo aide who is now in the sights of federal prosecutors looking into Cuomo's economic development projects around the state.

Here's what you learn about Howe:

3 foreclosures from 1999-2006
$400,000 in federal tax liens against him
Numerous lawsuits for not paying his bills
Sued for not paying back a $90,000 home equity loan
A 2003 bankruptcy
Prosecuted for failing to return a rental car
And last but certainly not least, a felony theft conviction for cashing a $45,000 check at TD Bank without the actual check (yes, the bank eventually caught him on it...)

Here's Howe's connection to the Cuomo economic development programs:

As the federal inquiry became public recently, Mr. Howe, 55, was fired from his job as president of WOH Government Solutions, the lobbying firm where he had worked for 14 years. Among WOH’s clients are COR Development Company, SUNY Polytechnic Institute, the developer LPCiminelli and CPV Valley L.L.C., which is building a power plant in the Hudson Valley — four entities that have been linked to central figures in the investigation. Mr. Howe was listed as a lobbyist for at least one of those clients.

COR, CPV and LP Ciminelli are all Cuomo donors who received contracts from the state for various work related to Cuomo's economic development programs.

Nice that WOH Government solutions had a such a deadbeat lobbying for them.

Nice too that Cuomo had this guy as his deputy chief of staff back in the day at HUD.

I mean, who wouldn't want this kind of guy working for them?

And Cuomo says teachers need accountability?
