Why Isn't The Post Covering The Crisis In Japan?

Both the Times and the News have had lots of stories about the earthquake aftermath in Japan.

Both have had lots of stories about the nuclear fallout from the failing nuclear power plants.

But if you're a reader of the NY Post and only the NY Post, you could be forgiven for not knowing the severity of things in Japan this weekend.

Murdoch's NY Post barely covered the stories.

Even this morning, there seem to be more stories about the St. John's basketball team than about the crisis in Japan, including one about how "hot" the coaches wife is.

Any idea why Murdoch isn't covering this story in the Post?

Is the pro-nuclear Murdoch afraid the nuclear power plant failures in Japan will turn Americans against nuclear power, so he's making believe like nothing's happening?

  1. Because the crisis in Japan does not help them demonize teachers or attack the working class.
