Why Are Cathie Black's Grades Redacted?

The city argued in court today that they can release teacher ratings based upon value-added analysis because public school teachers have no right to privacy regarding their public functions.

And yet, when the state released Cathie Black's academic record from high school and college, it redacted the grades.

So you can see what classes Black took, but not the grades she received.

Apparently Cathie Black has the right to expect privacy regarding her own academic performance in school even though public school teachers have no right to privacy regarding their work at all.

Just another example of the hypocrisy that infect our corporate culture from top to bottom.

What's good for the Cathie is NOT good for the rest of us.
