Plastic Surgery

I bet when Cathie Black accepted an invitation from Mayor Moneybags to become schools chancellor, she never thought the press coverage would turn so negative that even her (perhaps) past plastic surgery has become an issue.

But I don't think whether Cathie Black had plastic surgery or not is relevant to the issue of her qualification for the job.

Especially since no one said Joel Klein's lack of past plastic surgeries disqualified him for the position.

Heck, there is somebody who could have used some plastic surgery to look less like a Dickensian villain and more like a, uh, human.

Still, if Ms. Black did decide to undergo the knife to rid herself of some eyebags, perhaps she can make plastic surgery available as part of the DOE health package?

I wouldn't mind getting rid of some eyebags of my own.

Oh, and how about a high school themed around plastic surgery?

Students can practice cutting test scores before they do the real surgeries.

Heck, these are real world skills we're trying to teach here.

  1. I roll my eyes a lot and that helps the bags-under-the-eyes situation. It pisses people off but it gets more than one job done. Cheaper, safer, and much more convenient than plastic surgery; it also aids you in making your point non verbally.

  2. A academy for plastic surgery? How about a new leadership training program for ex-TFAers, where they are instructed on how to bleed and use leeches?
